2025-2026 Policies

*Our policies have been updated to the following as of August 1, 2025.*

ATTENDANCE POLICY:

Good attendance is extremely important for Legacy Dance Studio students. Missing classes/being tardy causes challenges for the whole class as well as the instructors. Multiple tardies will count as an absence as well because so much takes place during the duration of the class. We understand that there will be times where your dancer is unable to attend their classes such as: sickness, school events, and vacations, but please make us aware that your dancer will be absent. We also understand that there will be times where your dancer is tardy to class. In the event that your dancer will be absent from their classes/practices or will be running behind resulting in them being tardy, please text/call us at 478-508-7383 to let us know. Attendance is of the utmost importance for the success of the dancer and the class as a whole. If a student misses too many classes or practices he/she will fall behind. Choreography for our May 2026 recital starts in January 2026. Starting in January 2026,  if your dancer misses 3 or more consecutive classes, you must pay for a private lesson to catch them up on the choreography. Private lessons are $30 for 30 minutes, $45 for 45 minutes, and $60 for 60 minutes. Private lessons can be scheduled via text message  (478-508-7383) or email (legacydancestudio.ga@gmail.com). Private lessons must be paid either through cash, check or venmo, and the private lesson fee must be paid directly to the instructor of their class. In the event of excessive absences Legacy Dance Studio is at liberty to remove a student from a dance(s), or in the most extreme case expulsion from the studio.
